The HPB-01RLG left ear speaker pad + boom microphone, which has a slightly longer cable, is required when mounting the Helmet Clip Intercom onto the back of a regular helmet or hard hat.
When mounting the Helmet Clip Intercom onto the back of a regular helmet or hard hat, the following accessories are required.

- HC-RH01R regular helmet speaker pad front clip
- HPB-01RLG left ear speaker pad + boom microphone
