The Yaesu SBT-12 alkaline battery tray can be used with various Yaesu Airband radios. With the SBT-12 alkaline battery tray you can operate your Airband radio with 6x AA alkaline batteries (batteries not included).
The SBT-12 alkaline battery tray must not be used with re-chargeable cells. The SBT-12 battery tray does not contain the thermal and over-current protection circuits when utilizing Ni-Cd and Ni-MH cells.
